Privacy policy for newsletter and demo booking
This page describes how we process your data when you sign up for the LCAbyg newsletter or book a demo via the website. It covers only these two forms, not other parts of the LCAbyg product.

What data we collect
Your email address and, if you provide it, your name and company. If you book a demo, this may also include the number of users and a brief description of your project or what you'd like to see in the demo.
Purpose and legal basis
We use the data to send you the newsletter — news about the product, the LCA industry, and upcoming features — or, if you book a demo, to arrange a time and prepare the walkthrough. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, and for the newsletter also section 10 of the Danish Marketing Practices Act (markedsføringsloven).
Cookies
The sign-up and demo forms are only shown once you click "Show sign-up form" or "Show demo form". Only then does a script from Outseta load, which may set cookies in your browser to display and remember the form. If you don't click the button, no cookies are set. We store only one local data point in your browser (localStorage) to remember that you've accepted this — it isn't a cookie and isn't shared with anyone. See Outseta's own privacy policy for details on their cookies. The form also loads Google reCAPTCHA to protect against spam, which sends data to Google — see Google's privacy policy. Otherwise, the site uses no analytics or marketing cookies.
Who we share data with
The newsletter is sent, and demo requests are handled, via our data processor Outseta. We don't share your data with anyone else.
Retention
If you sign up for the newsletter, we keep your data for as long as you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we delete it. If you book a demo, we keep your data until the demo has taken place and any follow-up is complete.
Withdrawing consent
You can withdraw your consent and unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email we send. It's free and requires no justification.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, and delete your data. You can complain about our processing to the Danish Data Protection Agency, see datatilsynet.dk.
